Rains Acquires Swedish Outdoor Heritage Brand Haglöfs
Danish rainwear brand expands into technical outdoor territory.
Rains, the Aarhus-based rainwear label, acquires Haglöfs from Asics for an undisclosed sum. The deal closes Asics' divestment of outdoor brands following its strategic refocus on running.
Rains founder Daniel Brix Hesselager will lead a combined entity that retains both brands' separate identities.
