Carnival
Carnival began in 2010 as a tiny Bangkok Converse store run by Anupong Kuttikul and quickly became Thailand's most influential sneaker and streetwear powerhouse, picking up 100,000 Facebook fans within six months. The label now operates six stores nationwide and runs its own streetwear line alongside coveted collaborations with Nike, Reebok, Converse, ASICS and Netflix's Squid Game, the latter selling out instantly. Its more upscale offshoot Upperground, opened at CentralWorld in 2018, anchors the high end of Bangkok's sneaker boutique scene, and Carnival itself is consistently profiled by Hypebeast, Sneaker Freaker and Highsnobiety.
