Emerging Independent
Kostüme
Founded in 2001 by Camila Milessi and Emiliano Blanco in Buenos Aires's emerging Palermo Soho, Kostüme has become the quietly subversive face of Argentine independent design. Named after the German word for 'clothing,' the brand is built on functional, gender-neutral silhouettes, clean lines and an 'anti-fashion' ethos that rejects seasonal churn. Twenty-plus years on, Milessi and Blanco still design every garment, shoe and accessory in-house, with prêt-à-porter, eyewear and contemporary jewellery sold from their Buenos Aires flagship and a small network of international stockists.
