Patio Bullrich

Inaugurated August 1988 by Grupo IRSA inside the 1867 Bullrich family auction house — once Argentina's most important sales floor for prize bulls, thoroughbreds and estate art — Patio Bullrich was the country's first upscale mall, predating Galerías Pacífico by three years. The Belle Époque facade and central court were carefully preserved. Today the 68-store roster on the edge of Recoleta concentrates international and local fashion (Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Christian Lacroix, Tiffany & Co., Omega) plus restaurants, cafés and a six-screen cinema, anchoring Buenos Aires' luxury retail.
