Totokaelo was founded in 2003 in Seattle by Jill Wenger as a multi-brand boutique focused on avant-garde Japanese, Belgian, and European designer fashion before relocating its flagship to New York's TriBeCa neighborhood in 2015 and becoming one of the defining post-2000 American avant-garde curated retail operations.
